The shop has been busy and so have I. I’ve found so much fun vintage Christmas jewelry and folks love it. It is so much more charming then the new stuff. My favorite piece is a graceful reindeer pin leaping into the air complete with red rhinestone nose!
Julie and I took a field trip to [...]

Mandi does it again! She was kind enough to send me some pics of her modeling photos wearing clothing she got at Vintage JoAnn.
The blue 50’s dress with the lace and tulle looks adorable, and I LOVE the hat! Also 50’s netting and blue millinary flowers.
The leopard skirt was a 60’s find and very cool [...]

This young beauty is a granddaughter of one of my favorite customers, Roxie. She is outfitted in a 1940’s look from Vintage JoAnn for a swing dance demonstration. Doesn’t she look adorable? Some people just have natural style!

Every day is an adventure at Vintage JoAnn as I never know who or what is going to come strolling through my door. Today a good friend stopped by and dropped off a load of the most bodacious men’s 1970’s shirts. Cotton and polyester, long pointy collars, tapered fit, from an era when some men’s [...]

Last month a very attractive young couple stopped in and and I enjoyed their visit. One of the items they bought was a bright green halter dress, form fitting and dripping with long fringes, like a 20’s flapper dress, even though the dress is circa 1970. She looked absolutely fabulous and they left but not [...]

Va Va Va Voom!
Kara is one of my customers who is also a model and comes to the shop for outfits for photo shoots. Everything Kara is wearing in this photo came from Vintage JoAnn except the headband and thong. I was tickled to death when she came in on Saturday and gave me this picture. [...]

Rick and I went to a fab party hosted by our friends, Julie and Marvin McLaughlin on Halloween night.
Julie is an artist and spent weeks planning and assembling props and decorations from her garage sale shopping.
She totally outdid herself and the decor was really cool and spooky. There was everything from a full graveyard in [...]
